AGENDA

* Consider a one-time waiver of the annual limit on large gatherings allowed at the St. Cecilia Hotel per SRCC's Restrictive Covenant with its owners. The one-time gathering will honor individual donors (not businesses) to Save Austin Oaks in order to pay for a new oak wilt suppression trench in the neighborhood. This is a time-sensitive matter that will be decided at this meeting and will not go before the General Membership for a vote, however, the Committee's actions will be reported to the General Membership at the April meeting.

* Discuss parking lot recently built across several lot lines along Melissa Lane, thought to be a code violation.

* Discuss expanded building going on at 1609 Drake, also thought to be a code violation.

* Consider an SRCC position on the proposed amendment to the City's Land Development Code, "to grant a one-time extension of the period of time for which certain projects and site plans are valid." This is a time-sensitive matter in that a public hearing on the proposed amendment is scheduled to be held at City Hall, March 26, 2009, beginning at 6:00p.m. The mailing date for notice of the hearing was March 10, 2009. The case number is C20-2009-003.

* Discuss formation of an ad hoc committee to recommend a Financial Policy for SRCC, to address such items as general finance and budgeting, advertising in the newsletter, conditions under which to demand or accept or refuse money from developers, and membership dues.
